I have to admit that I tried my best but a couple of days off work and some holiday party invitations ruined my whole plan to stay healthy over the christmas holidays. A fun New years eve party with a couple of glasses wine didn´t help either.
But as everybody says new year new goals and that is why I´m writing this article today for you.
I never said I´m perfect and I´m the first one to tell everybody that I slipped and ate something unhealthy but now back to the truth. After I ate the first couple of cookies I decided to enjoy the days between christmas and new years day with everything that comes along. First I couldn´t get enough of everything unhealthy, like cookies, pies, chocolate but after a while I had enough of them and I switched to buttered pretzles and sour cream chips. Just let me tell you I ate so much junk food the last few days that it lasts probably for years.
My plan for the next 14 days is to stay away from sugar, white flour and every salty snack. That means no more chocolate pecan cookies for this girl over here and they are my weakness. But I think after two big boxes in the last week it is enough, don´t you think so?
I´m sure the first few days will be hard especially on the sugar graving but I´m sure what doesn´t kill me makes me stronger. Just see it the way that it is a little battle and every battle you win, you get stronger and the other ones are getting weaker.
