I started to find my love towards nutrition and sports when I was in the USA 2010, during that year I lost 40 lbs and I gained a lot of experience and learned a lot about my body. In the beginning I did not even recognize it myself. What I did recognize was that the small things in life were easier now. I could go upstairs without getting out of breath, I could get up in the morning easier and because I had to cook for myself I was eating way healthier.
When I stepped on the scale for the first time I didn´t believe what I saw and drove to a friend to use hers but told me the same so I had to believe it. I lost 25 lbs by that time. Even when a lot of people say didn´t you recognize it with the clothes, no I did not because I´m still not familiar with the American sizes and so I bougt what fitted.
Today I´m one of the happiest person on earth and I can call myself lucky for sticking thru this year. I learned so much about my body, especially with working out and the nutrition. The most important thing I learned was eat always a breakfast because it gives you the energy for your day.
That is why I introduce you to my favourite breakfast recipe – protein pancakes.
Servings: 1 portion
- ¼ cup oats
- 1/3 cup curd cheese
- 1 tbsp whey powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
– In a bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. Then set aside.
– In a second bowl whis together curd cheese and eggs. Pour over dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
– Let it rest for about 10 minutes, so the oats can get soaked. Now use a tbsp to portion the pancakes. The best is to use a non stick pan to fry the pancakes.
